Setting Link Page Properties
This tutorial will demonstrate setting link page properteis in Dreamweaver CS5.
One of the categories on the Page Properties dialog is Links. This enables you to specify how any hyperlinks (to other sites or pages) are to be shown on a page.
You will be familiar with seeing links with underlining, and often with the font in a different color or even using a different typeface. Well, with Dreamweaver all of these things can be controlled.
As an alternative way of accessing the Page Preferences dialog, select Page Preferences from the top of the Modify menu.

Here is the Links (CSS) page with default values.

The Link Font defaults to the same font as the font on the page, which is the one specified in the Appearance category.
The two icons to the right of it let you specify whether you want the font used in the link in bold or italic.
There is also a box where you can specify the font size for links.
There are then color pickers where you can select the color to use for linked text, links you have already visited, rollover effects on links and active links.

As we saw earlier, with each of these it's possible to invoke the System Color Picker by clicking on the Color Wheel icon.

Note that in this case the color is black, which has RGB values of 0, 0 and 0.
And finally, you can select the underline style from the dropdown.

Here is a completed page where I've made my selections.

All I have to do now is click OK and I'm done.
